The Bushnell's City Council meeting was held on Monday, May 19.
Two guests spoke to Council; Alan Thompson inquired when a meeting would be held by the Police/Liquor committee to discuss side by sides and Jim Martin with concerns about damage and maintenance to East park and speeding on Hail St.
Mayor Dave Norton then appointed Rene Ford as replacement alderman in Ward 1 and Stacey Allen as Mayor Pro Tem. Other committee chair appointees included; Kim Havens Personnel/Finance/Budget Chair, Carla Promisson as Chair of Parks/Rec/Real Estate, Greg Yocum Chair of Public Works/ Sewer/Street/Alley, Mike Burkholder as Chair of Police/Liquor, and Stacey Allen as Chair of Economic Development.
In other business; Ald. Havens made a motion and council approved the application for grant monies for street improvements on N. Washington St., Ald. Yocum made a motion and council approved an Amendment #1 for additional services for the lead line survey, Ald Allen made a motion and council approved moving forward with the kitchen at the Depot for the price of $16,108.60.
